Scarend Silicone Gel is applied to old or new scars to help flatten, soften, and reduce redness and discoloration. The silicone forms a protective layer over the scar, promoting hydration and improving overall appearance.
Apply a thin layer of Scarend Silicone Gel to the clean, dry scar 1–2 times daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. Gently massage the gel until fully absorbed. Allow the gel to dry before covering with clothing or makeup.
Avoid applying to broken or infected skin. Inform your doctor if you experience skin irritation or allergic reactions. Discontinue use if severe redness, itching, or swelling occurs.
Do not use Scarend Silicone Gel if allergic to silicone or any component of the gel.
Common side effects may include mild skin irritation, itching, or redness at the application site. Severe allergic reactions are rare but require immediate medical attention.
No significant drug interactions are expected with topical use. Avoid using other topical medications on the same area unless approved by a healthcare provider.
